The Haunting of Hill House began as a 1959 horror novel from Shirley Jackson that followed a group of people as they experienced the terrors that existed inside Hill House. Netflix and director Mike Flanagan have evolved this concept to a series format, and now it follows the Crain family throughout their history with the house. Specifically the siblings are the focus as they are faced with a horrible tragedy that leads them back to the haunted home they abandoned so many years ago. As they are drawn closer to Hill House, the past comes back to haunt them in both beautiful and disturbing ways.
On this bonus podcast episode, we discuss the intricacies of Netflix’s recent series, The Haunting of Hill House. Just like the show itself, we bounce through the characters of the Crain family and dissect what it is about this show that captured our attention so intensely. This is a series that everyone is talking about, so join the conversation and take a listen!
