A continuation of this world or character that you loved is coming back to a theater near you. So you grab your closest friends, you psych yourself up and get ready for what is surely the greatest motion picture in the history of cinema!
And then it’s not.
That’s right, on this week’s podcast, we’re discussing when movie sequels go wrong. When that next chapter in your favorite film franchise forgets its roots or fans and turns into something dreadful. When you say ‘Bad Sequel’, so many films come to mind: Batman and Robin, Speed 2, Jaws 2, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, The Phantom Menace, and the list goes on and on.
What were our worst personal experiences because of bad sequels? What sequels ruined entire franchises for us? Most importantly: What are the absolute WORST movie sequels?
