Does a film genre ever truly die?
Every year we hear the news about yet another film genre that is no longer relevant, or that is being revived by some exciting new film that took a tired genre in an interesting way. Is it even possible for a genre to die out completely?
This week, we discuss the possibilities of genres being snuffed out over the course of history, as well as what ours and our listeners have deemed the genres that need to be put out to pasture.
