Director David Yates returns to the Potterverse as he offers us a look at magical tale decades before Harry Potter strolled into Hogwarts. Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, a collector and activist of sorts in the world of fantastic beasts. Upon arriving in New York, several beasts are unleashed, and Newt is forced to work with fellow wizards – and one delightful muggle – to bring them all in safely, just as a new evil emerges.
