Here is an early look at an upcoming VOD and DVD release told to be in the mold of Cabin in the Woods. Out on May 6th, The Evil Within tells of a group of friends who, while on a hike, become the target of an unknown darkness. Synopsis : A group of friends travel up to a cabin, located deep within the forest, and find themselves stalked by an unknown evil. Shortly after arriving, they stumble across a abandoned mine and decide to explore the dark and mysterious tunnels. As the group hikes deeper within the mine, they make a shocking discovery that quickly turns their excitement into fear. Hunted by a mysterious force, the group must work together to escape the mine alive.
The Evil Within will be released on VOD & DVD May 6th from Phase 4 Films. It stars Briana Evigan (Step Up 2 : The Streets, S.Darko), Julianna Guill (Friday the 13th), Alex Meraz (The Twilight Saga) and Joseph Cross (Lincoln) and is the new horror film from acclaimed Australian filmmaker Richard Gray (Blinder, The Lookalike).
