5. Vin Diesel
So, who just screamed at their screen? Well, before you curse this idea, just ponder on it for a second.
Vin Diesel is far more talented than even he seems to want you to know. For all of his bravado, slow-talking and skilled posturing, try to remember that this was a guy that Steven Spielberg himself hand-picked for Saving Private Ryan. Diesel may have fallen into the Fast & Furious well, but he has much more to offer than just the Buddha-centric sayings of Dom.
Go watch his work in Private Ryan. Revisit his take on Reese in Knockaround Guys. And especially, spend an hour and a half with the film that gave him his career: Strays. Diesel has more talent than just a meathead race car driver or the skilled assassin in Riddick. People have just forgotten how talented he truly is. That’s what happens when you only play drivers and assassins for the better part of a decade. Time to shake it up, Vin.
